Sobada de Matriz
Abdominal Sobadas are a traditional Mexican and Central American healing practice focused on the abdomen and surrounding organs.
Using gentle palpation of the abdomen and surrounding organs, this work supports digestive health, reproductive wellness, emotional release, and somatic balance.
Sobadas are often sought by those navigating painful menstruation, fibroids, urinary leakage, uterine imbalance, post-cesarean scar tightness, and constipation. This work centers comfort, awareness, and connection to the body rather than diagnosis or treatment. It is both a physical and spiritual practice. A traditional means of honoring alignment, vitality, and our ancestral ways of care.
Sessions may include prayer, breathwork, or herbal supports depending on individual needs and lineage. Sobadas are a cultural healing practice, not licensed massage therapy, and do not replace medical or licensed therapeutic care.
For Initial Consultations: We'll begin by taking time to connect and review your health history, concerns, and what's brought you to this work. This allows me to understand what we're working with together and feel into the holding patterns of your body and pelvis before we begin.
*This offering does not replace medical or licensed therapeutic care.
