We get very few candid spaces to talk about our relationship to money, debt, budgeting, investments, etc.

Many of us have been taught that talking about money is taboo, and that expressing our desire for more income, financial stability, and a healthier relationship to our money shouldn’t be said out loud.

No wonder so many of us bristle when it’s time to sit down and talk about our finances.

This will be an empowered space for smart, aware, like-minded women to come together and dig deep into candid conversations around money.

Complete with guided reflection, guest presentation, and exercises designed to hone financial reflection, you can expect to leave feeling more clear and confident for your 2024 financial goals.

  • Morgan Rodriguez

    HOST + FOUNDER OF GROUNDING DOWN

    Morgan is an entrepreneur, herbalist, community organizer, perinatal consultant, labor doula, and practitioner of Mexcian Curanderismo, her ancestral lineage medicine. She founded Grounding Down after an exhausting decade in the corporate wellness industry, seeking to create a space to support women in remembering their medicines. As a business owner, financial literacy has been a non-negotiable for Morgan, and she is exciting to create this space for the women in her community to tap into their “money medicine.”

  • Holly Bonebrake

    CPA, FINANCIAL CONSULTANT, PRACTICING WITCH

    Holly is a small business superfan and believer in the magic of spreadsheets. Owner at Ad Astra accounting, Holly has a vivid history of supporting her clients in the practical and magical aspects of financial literacy, empowerment, and harnessing the power of organizing your monetary landscape.

    Holly will be leading a 2 hour workshop on financial literacy, empowerment, and clarity for your 2024 money intentions.

  • Katie Lee

    PRIVATE CHEF

    Katie Lee's love for creating and sharing nourishing eats comes from connecting with herself and others. Her food reflects her attention to dietary restrictions and needs while serving up a colorful and nutritious palate. After sharing a meal made by her heart you can’t help to feel filled by the warmth of love.

    Katie spends her summers as a chef at the renowned Zapata Ranch in Colorado, and runs her full catering business during the winter months. 

  • Haleigh Nicholas

    LMT + BODYWORKER

    Haleigh is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in therapeutic deep tissue, Ashiatsu (barefoot massage), prenatal and soon to be certified in Maya abdominal massage. She holds a safe, non-judgmental space that will allow your body to fully surrender to receiving and healing. Haleigh will be offering fire cupping and light bodywork available for booking.

Our Home Base

Pikes Place Palace is a cozy home in Colorado Springs, CO. Complete with a full kitchen, private & communal bedrooms, stocked bathrooms, lounge areas, and cushy accommodations for our workshop.

Colorado Springs is located 1 hour south of Denver. Carpooling is available, reach out to Morgan for more details.

Our retreats are sober spaces where we support you in connecting to base wellness, community care, deep sleep, and edging very sweetly out of your comfort zone.

Our priority is that you feel comfortable, empowered, and very much at home.

We have seen lifelong friendships, sisterhoods, and even romances galvanized on past retreats. The Grounding Down community functions as a big family, with innumerable connections and networks within.

For us, it’s not just putting on a retreat. It’s about overlapping worlds, and connecting you with your people.
